A subtle coloration unit that works instantly with no calibration required.

The Reflex Digital Warmer plugin gently adds harmonic richness to your signal that can help things to sound clearer and more glued together.

The device employs a combination of three waveshaping algorithms that each have a consistent sweet-spot, which is dialed in via automatic gain-staging. Hence the plugin does not have user-adjustable drive or make-up gain controls.

This allows you to move quickly: the plugin starts working while still on its default settings, and it automatically stays calibrated even as your material gets louder and quieter. You can hear an equal-LUFS on/off comparison at any time, without needing to manually measure input and output LUFS.

Features

  • Automatic input drive keeps the processing engaged regardless of input level
  • Automatic make-up gain targets neutral LUFS impact
  • Parallel processing via gain-matched dry/wet Mix control
  • Selective oversampling if your project's sample rate is below 120kHz

How to use

  • Use the Reflex Digital Warmer on your master bus or on individual audio tracks
  • If needed, adjust the High Cut frequency to match the tone of your dry signal
  • Click the waveform display for loudness-matched A/B test (bypass mode continues to use CPU in order to stay calibrated)
  • Double-click to reset a dial to its default value, or hold <CTRL>/<CMD> to fine-tune

Technical notes

  • Available in VST3, AAX & AU formats for Windows and MacOS
  • Requires a compatible Digital Audio Workstation or other plugin host
  • 3ms latency
  • The device may not react meaningfully to certain engineering test signals used by analysis tools such as PluginDoctor
