Our hearing also decodes information about where signals are coming from, and about the texture of any surfaces present.

Using a pattern of early reflections that avoids comb filtering, the Proximity Encoder plugin subtly lifts your material and brings it closer to the listener.

• Adjustable effect level (-36dB to -14dB vs. dry signal)
• Automatic make-up gain to match perceived loudness

How to use

• Set the "Time Factor" dial to best match the groove of your material
• Click the display for instant A/B test (still uses CPU as if plugin activated)
• Double-click to reset a dial to its default value, or hold <CTRL>/<CMD> to fine-tune
• Use Proximity Encoder on your master bus or on individual audio tracks
  

Technical notes

• Available in VST3 format for PC, and VST3 & AU formats for Mac. AAX support coming soon
• Requires a compatible Digital Audio Workstation or other plugin host
• ~3ms latency
